Practical On - The - Water Training Seminar
June 19th (afternoon) and all day June 20th

North River is proud to announce the USPS Practical On-the-Water Training (POWT) Seminar at South Minneford Yacht Club, City Island.

This is an eight hour seminar with the perfect combination of classroom training and hands-on On-The-Water training. It provides an explanation of how your boat handles and why. Video clips let you visualize the maneuvers prior to your performing them on the water. It covers use of lines, departing the dock, operating in a fairway, pivoting, mooring, backing, docking, steering – slaloms fast & slow, holding course and range.

Each student receives a copy of Powerboat Handling Illustrated, a DVD, a Student Manual, and a certificate acknowledging his/her training.

Some class hours of this program may be given the evening before the OTW day.

Registration is limited, and you need to sign up at least a week in advance to insure a slot.

Cost of the program including box lunch is $200.
