- AIS (Automatic Identification System)
- SPOT & PLB’s (Personal Locator Beacons)
- APRS (Automatic Packet Reporting System)
- EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon)
- IRLP (Internet Radio Linking Project)
- GMDSS (Global Marine Distress Safety System)
